Internet Safety is important for everyone to learn. This course will focus on giving teachers knowledge and resources to use in the classroom to teach their students how to be safe online, and how to keep their personal information safe.
This course will focus on Minecraft: Education Edition, a 3D video game development tool for kids used by educators to teach math, history, humanities, physics, computer programming, design in a multiplayer virtual learning environment . Minecraft is a 3D virtual world environment developed by Mojang and later bought by Microsoft to run on either Windows, Macintosh, X-Box and Playstation. Through a point-and-click interface teachers and students can easily begin to create 3D learning experiences. This course is designed for K-12 teachers to learn how to use Minecraft in their classrooms. No prior Minecraft experience required.
